Interstate Resources, Inc. group of manufacturing facilities, headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, employs over 1,500 people in Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
Our operations include two paper mills for kraft linerboard and recycled corrugated medium, two timber and lumber operations, three corrugated container operations, three corrugated sheet plants, and one corrugated sheet feeder. In addition, we have our own bio-mass power plant.
Interstate Resources’ primary market is the Eastern seaboard of the United States with a growing commitment to the South and Midwest. Most of our corrugated container production and packaging products are sold domestically. We are a net seller of containerboard to independent box makers and export kraft linerboard to Canada, Central America, South America, Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.
